Gross State Product (GSP): a measure of the total value of goods and services produced in Colorado.

O verall, the university's direct expenditures of almost $1.2 billion created an estimated $2.2 billion in incremental gross state product (GSP). Based on these estimates, CU generates approximately $11.08 of additional GSP for every dollar of state support it receives—a very high return in comparison to other uses of state funds.
