President's Teaching and Learning Collaborative extends deadline for proposals

April 12 is new due date for submissions from faculty researchers

The call for research proposals for the 2011 President's Teaching and Learning Collaborative (PTLC) has been extended to April 12.

Members of the collaborative create and publish scholarship in teaching and learning that contributes to theory and effective teaching practice in and across disciplines. Each scholar designs and undertakes an investigation aimed at deepening understanding of disciplinary pedagogy and related to an important issue in learning carefully identified by the researcher.

Faculty from all disciplines are invited to become investigators in the PTLC, now beginning its fifth year and establishing its 2011 cohort of faculty investigators. Each investigator is supported by a coach/mentor and benefits from a student research assistant.

Complete details are posted at http://www.colorado.edu/ptsp/ptlc/PTLCCall2011.html

All application materials must be submitted electronically to Suzanne.Eyerman@colorado.edu no later than Monday, April 12. Notifications of acceptance will be made by May 1.
