The Office of Research Development and Education at the University of Colorado Denver is set to present "Research Dollars: Identify and Cultivate Funding Opportunities" on Thursday, Feb. 18; Thursday, Feb. 25; and Tuesday, March 2.

The seminar, open to faculty, will feature information on the basics of searching for external funding.

This seminar will help attendees:

• Identify funding resources
• Develop personal techniques for using funding resources
• Organize and track specific funding resources
• Develop a support network for external funding
• Understand the sponsor's role
• Identify and use pertinent sponsor information
• Increase funding base by broadening a research idea
