David Allen:
The CU Technology Transfer Office (TTO) finished the fiscal year, June 30, by achieving or exceeding its ambitious growth targets. New programs to advance technology commercialization will be executed this fiscal year. Come hear about the progress and new thrusts and learn how you (as either an investigator, student, or business person) can work with the CU TTO.
Dr. Allen came to CU 30 months ago from Ohio State University. He has 20 years of increasing responsibility in entrepreneurship education and research (at Penn State University), venture capital (at Zero Stage Capital), and university based technology transfer (at Ohio University and Ohio State University). He has overall responsibility for TTO, which secures and protects CU research investigator-created intellectual property and licenses these assets to innovative adopters of emerging technology.
Evan Husney:

Mr. Husney's practice focuses on entity formation, financing transactions of all sizes, including private placement of debt and equity securities, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions and other general business matters. Mr. Husney also acts as outside general counsel to a variety of privately-held companies and assists with corporate governance and other business issues.
Mr. Husney is a co-founder of the Bioentrepreneur's Club, a networking group formed in collaboration with the Colorado Alliance for Bioengineering designed to allow life science researchers to interact with life science entrepreneurs and executives.
