Lu Cordova
Lu M. Cordova is President of the internationally recognized, award winning CTEK, and Chairman of CTEK Angels. CTEK has the largest community-based volunteer network of business mentors and advisors in the world and is considered one of the most distinguished business catalysts in the country. Sister organization CTEK Angels is now the largest organized group of individual investors in the state of Colorado.

As a 4-time CEO/President, Lu has over 25 years experience in strategic planning and operations management. Prior to CTEK, Cordova was Chief Executive Officer of Corlund Industries, CEO of Acteva, and part of the original team at @Home Network (Excite@Home) where she co-founded their @Work Division and founded their business portal, Work.com which garnered over $60 million in funding from Excite, Dow Jones and AT&T. Cordova was also Vice President of Corporate Development at MMS International, a start-up sold to the Standard & Poor's Corporation of McGraw-Hill. She was the Chief Executive Officer for the Institute for Economic & Monetary Affairs, Executive Editor of the Journal of Economic & Monetary Affairs (now called Geonomics). She has also worked for the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System and for the California State Attorney General. Ms. Cordova has been appointed by the U.S. Secretary of Labor to a third term on the BLS Business Research Advisory Council and she has been appointed to the Federal Reserve Board's 10th District Advisor Council to represent Colorado technology. She served on the Board of Directors for the National Association of Business Economists (NABE) and on the Board of the Silicon Valley Roundtable where she was awarded "Silicon Valley Guru" status. She founded GenXangels in California and CTEK Angels in Colorado.

Ms. Cordova attended the University of California at Berkeley and received BS degrees in both Political Science and Economics and a A.B.D. in the Ph.D. program in Economics. While at Berkeley she was awarded Rockefeller and AEA scholarships, became President of Students for the Arts, was elected as a lifetime Fellow of the Order of the Golden Bear, and served as Chairman of the Graduate Economics Association.

Cordova has spoken nationally on many aspects of business development and entrepreneurial ventures. Her recent awards include a Telly Award for a TV commercial she produced, a "Leader & Mentor Award" from Women in Technology International and an IQ Award from the Boulder County Business Report in Colorado.
