John Cevette
John Cevette is the Executive Director for the Colorado Corn Growers Association and the Colorado Corn Administrative Committee. John joined both organizations in June 2002 after a long career in government and the private sector.

In 1975 he completed his law degree at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. while working as legislative counsel for Senator Howard Cannon (D-Nevada) and Senator Floyd K. Haskell (D-Colorado). Subsequently he practiced law in the areas of corporate and business and civil litigation.

In 1982 he accepted a position as Executive Vice President with an international public affairs firm in Washington, D.C., and was responsible for public policy communications for the firm's largest client, members of the Saudi Arabian royal family.

John founded and was President of Cevette and Company in 1985, a national communications firm, until his first retirement in 2002. Cevette and Company had long and successful relationships with a number of the state and national corn organizations, developing strategic and promotional plans for ethanol and related value-added corn products.
