  • Alliance for Technology Access - a network of community-based Resource Centers, Developers and Vendors, Affiliates, and Associates dedicated to providing information and support services to children and adults with disabilities, and increasing their use of standard, assistive, and information technologies.
  • Assistive Technology Partners (University of Colorado Health Sciences Center) - a compilation of services, projects, activities, and research dedicated to enhancing access to assistive technology at home, school, work and play for individuals with disabilities, their families, employers, and professionals providing services.
  • AZtech, Inc. - full-service market research company offering a complete range of services, including: focus groups, interviews, surveys, literature searches, industry profiles and trends, technology transfer, invention commercialization and business consulting.

  • CAST - a not-for-profit organization that uses technology to expand opportunities for all people, especially those with disabilities.
  • Center for Information Technology Accomodation - U.S. General Services Administration site which provides information on accessibility and Section 508 guidelines.
  • Center for Universal Design - a national research, information, and technical assistance center that evaluates, develops, and promotes universal design in housing, public and commercial facilities, and related products at the University of North Carolina.
  • CSUN Conference - California State University Center on Disabilities. CSUN hosts the longest-running and largest annual university sponsored conference on technology and persons with disabilities.
  • EASI - Equal Access to Software and Information - a provider of online training on accessible information technology for persons with disabilities.
  • Job Accomodation Network - JAN - a free consulting service that provides information about job accommodations, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and the employability of people with disabilities.
  • NARIC - National Rehabilitation Information Center - For 20 years, the staff of the National Rehabilitation Information Center (NARIC) has collected and disseminated the results of federally funded research projects. NARIC's literature collection, which also includes commercially published books, journal articles, and audiovisuals, averages around 200 new documents per month.
  • NIDRR - National Institute for Disability and Rehabilitation Research - a federal agency which provides funding for research in areas such as employment; health and function; technology for access and function; independent living and community integration; and other associated disability research areas.
  • National Center for Accessible Media - a research and development facility dedicated to the issues of media and information technology for people with disabilities in their homes, schools, workplaces, and communities.
  • RESNA - Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America - a not for profit interdisciplinary association aimed at promoting research, development, education, advocacy, and the provision of technology and by supporting the people engaged in these activities. There are currently over 1600 individual and 150 organizational members.
  • TechConnections - a national information dissemination project to improve the utilization of existing and emerging technology in state vocational rehabilitation programs.
  • Trace R & D Center (College of Engineering, University of Wisconsin at Madison) - The Center is currently working on ways to make standard information technologies and telecommunications systems more accessible and usable by people with disabilities and conducting research on universal design.
