SOM's Lazarus chosen to lead AMA
On June 19, Denver psychiatrist Jeremy A. Lazarus, M.D., a clinical professor at the CU School of Medicine, will be inaugurated as president of the American Medical Association (AMA). This is yet another testament to the outstanding and dedicated faculty who are the backbone of the University of Colorado. During his year in the post, Lazarus will spend more than 200 days traveling, speaking with physicians, students, health professionals and others to champion AMA initiatives.
