Kate Tallman
Director of Technology Transfer for UCB and UCCS
Kate Tallman works with the Boulder-based team to serve the Boulder and Colorado Springs campuses. She primarily works with CU research groups who produce software technology. Kate has been with the CU Technology Transfer Office since 2002.
Kate was previously Director of Marketing, as well as Co-Founder of Roving Planet, a local, venture-backed software company specializing is wireless LAN technology. She has an MBA from the Leeds School of Business, where she focused on Marketing. Kate co-authored a business plan that won first place in an international business plan competition and was published in The Business Plan Handbook Edition 9 (The Gale Group, 2002). Prior to getting her MBA, she spent four years as a research analyst, performing market and financial analysis of healthcare companies.
