Davud Poticha David Poticha, now the Senior Licensing Manager at the Technology Transfer Office for the University of Colorado Denver, Anschutz Medical Campus, was previously a patent attorney at Myogen (a CU start-up company located in Westminster). David became a licensing associate in TTO’s health sciences team in March 2006 and in this role David focused on evaluating invention disclosures, protection and licensing of intellectual property developed by health sciences researchers at the University of Colorado, as well new business creation and commercializing that intellectual property. That work continued and was expanded in July of 2008 when he became Senior Licensing Manager of the Denver office. David’s previous work was with Myogen, where he spent 3 ½ years as the in-house patent and corporate counsel. At Myogen David’s duties included patent prosecution, trademark and patent portfolio management, drafting and negotiating lP licenses with University TTO’s and other companies, creation and management of an IP portfolio and tracking system, membership on the drug branding team, and assisting the general counsel with drafting and negotiating confidentiality agreements, material transfer agreements and consulting agreements.
