Converge on the Capitol with us for CU Advocacy Day

We hope you'll join us to share your support of CU on Friday, March 16, at CU Advocacy Day at the Capitol. The CU Office of Government Relations, the Office of the President and the CU Advocates program invite friends of CU to join us from 7:30 a.m. to noon in the Old Supreme Court Chambers at the Colorado State Capitol, 200 E. Colfax Ave., Denver.

Participants will get the opportunity to:

  • meet legislators.
  • hear from Lt. Gov. Joe Garcia.
  • speak with CU campus leadership, CU regents and fellow CU Advocates.
  • watch legislators in action and be part of CU's recognition in the House and Senate Chambers.
  • learn about Colorado's budget and how it affects higher education from Henry Sobanet, the governor's director of state planning and budgeting.

Register online before Monday, March 12, to ensure your admission. Materials will be sent to all registered attendees Wednesday, March 14. We appreciate your continued support and look forward to seeing you there.
